This lot is for a pair of my father’s favorite, risque, brassiere cufflinks! My mother and father owned a chain of lingerie shops in the 1960’s and 1970’s – they’re both passed now, but here’s my dad’s “conversation piece” cufflinks when he wanted to stir up business! Have saved these all this time for you!
Take a look at my blog and you will see a short film I made in my parents’ store, Elaine’s Underfashion Shop, in Charlotte, N.C., back in 1971. If you looked like a bit of a goer, my dad would flash his cufflinks at you for a laugh – and hopefully a sale!
Material is metal and they are one inch wide. You’d be hard put to find another pair of these beauties! As I remember, my father said they were specialty manufactured for him in New York. Wear these and create a stir at your next cocktail party!
Fine to Very Fine Condition.
Give these risque brassiere links a good home and carry on the family tradition!.
